We are the Scheepers family and we have a passion for sewing machines. A strange affliction, to be sure but one that has interested and shaped us as a business. David is the main technician, the 3rd generation of sewing machine technician in his family, trained from a young age by his grandfather. Being a sewing machine technician is definitely a family affair with Grandad, two uncles, a cousin and Father in the business, David is now also training his son the craft.

Our main goal is to provide knowledgeable assistance from experienced technicians who specialise in sewing machines and overlockers. Also to do everything we can to not let any old sewing machines end up in a landfills.

We now have a workshop in Petone and one in paraparaumu with plans for a 3rd workshop in Porirua. additionally we have 3 collection points with plans to add more over the next year.

The idea behind the below galleries is to provide a visual experience behind our business and show the people behind the scenes.

Completed Machines

To date we have worked on over 1200 machines in New Zealand, of various makes and models.

We love the diverse and intricate nature, with the unique engineering, across all the brands of sewing machines and overlockers

In many cases we receive machines that have not been serviced for many years. By the time the service is completed, to see a clean and well working machine, is a big sense of pride.

We are so confident in our quality of service, our first operational rule is "No fix No Money" meaning if we cant fix the machine, we will not charge at all.

We are 100% a family business, even mom helps sometimes over weekends

Penny and Tai are our workshop cats they keep us in check and the riffraff out
